Introduction + Welcome

Hi! I wanted to give a quick welcome and introduction into this site and the “why” behind starting this consulting business. If you’ve been around for a while, you know Ramble & Co. has always been more than just a shop. It’s been a creative space, a community, and a place where I’ve poured my heart, vision, and experience into building something meaningful — from the inside out.

Over the years, I've worn many hats: brand builder, photographer, content creator, marketer, team leader, screen printer and operations person (just to name a few). And after almost a decade of hands-on experience, I’ve stepped into something new and exciting: Kathryn Hager Consulting.

This new venture is all about helping other purpose-driven businesses grow with clarity, creativity, and direction. Whether you need help clarifying your brand, creating content, optimizing your Shopify site, or launching your next big idea to name a few — I’d love to come alongside you.

In addition to project-based consulting, I’m opening up space for select number of monthly coaching clients — ideal for small business owners or creative leads who want consistent, ongoing support as they navigate day-to-day operations and uncover opportunities to grow and run a smarter, more intentional business.

You might be wondering — what about Ramble? Ramble is still moving and grooving, and I’m still actively involved behind the scenes. Kathryn Hager Consulting is a part-time pursuit that allows me to step into other opportunities I’ve been genuinely excited about — helping other founders and teams find clarity, momentum, and sustainable growth. Before & After : Rambling Pearl

Let’s rewind to 2019 — my husband and I decided to buy a small pier-and-beam house with big potential. The goal? Turn it into an Airbnb. I was curious about the short-term rental business model, but truthfully, I was most excited to design a space completely from scratch. We had just finished renovating and adding on to our own home, and I was itching for another creative outlet beyond my day-to-day at Ramble & Co. This little house became just that. Here’s a quick peek at the before and after (spoiler: we’ve since sold it!). If you asked me my favorite part? The kitchen — I’ve got a soft spot for open shelving. A close second was styling the space with quirky vintage finds that gave it real personality.
